Tips and Techniques That Will Teach You How to Stop Your Puppy from Biting Your Clothes and Hands
If you have ever had a puppy, you can tell him how much he likes to bite and chew. Because they are puppies and have lots of energy, they tend to bite everything, shoes, clothes, hands, pillows, just for fun. Sometimes it can be fun if the biting materials are not valuable. But when it comes to our precious hands, clothes, shoes, it gets annoying.Puppy sharp and pointed teeth are extremely painful to the hands and damage the clothes. If puppies are allowed to grow that way, they can inflict much pain and harm on innocent and loving people.
Of course, puppies tend to bite on hands and clothing, which is attractive to them and attracts the attention they receive, especially if you pretend to fight them.
How do you teach your dog not to bite in pain and develop the sweet and painless snack necessary for the conversation? According to Aidan Bindoff, the dog has to learn "inhibition of the bite". Here you take something because of their painful or destructive bite.
To do this effectively, you must use the time-out method. A time-out is a method used to alert the dog that what he has done is wrong and therefore to achieve the desired result by pausing or minimizing it.
There are two variants for this. You could scream like a puppy to prevent overbiting. This method is not exactly intrinsically safe. Some people who have used this method have confirmed their effectiveness while others have noticed a real increase in bite. Some puppies really like it when they scream. This only makes them more excited, which leads to more painful bites. Therefore, it varies. If you scream and your puppy stops biting, it might work for you. On the other hand, you have to observe a long time before you can determine the effectiveness.
The second and by far most effective method is the "ouch" method. Be careful here as the success of this method depends on the EXACT execution of your statement.
If the puppy bites you, use this method to say "ouch" with a neutral tone, be careful not to say it sharp or angry, and then leave the place. If there is a door, close it when it goes out and stay outside for thirty seconds. This marks the type of behavior that you want to stop, and therefore gives you a wait for your bite. It may take some time for the puppy to notice that it leaves the room because of its bite. However, this marks it continuously as a negative behavior that you do not like. If there are people in the same room, take out the puppy and close the door for only 30 seconds.
This is only effective if you notice a significant drop in your bite. If there are no significant changes or decreases, the continued use of the techniques is a waste of time, energy and effort. If this does not work, you can hire a specialist for a more appropriate and effective method.
These are some of the most important things to learn stop your dog biting. If you want to train your dog successfully, you must always be patient and persistent.
